Kristy's Blog Challenge #10

What's left on your list?

Not much! :) Makes happy, that's for sure! I need to wrap 2 small gifts, and that is it!! We have all of our shopping done, and DH wants to wrap the 3 gifts to his dad, so other than that we are good to go!

Oh, but we do need to take Ella to see Santa. I think we are going to do that tomorrow. We'll see how that goes...could be disastrous!

Cards are out, gifts are bought and wrapped (except for the last 5 to wrap), Ella's stocking is stuffed.

ALL DONE! :)

Kristy's Blog Challenge #9

Holiday Baking:

Since I've left home and had my own home and family, I haven't really done any holiday baking. Hopefully next year Ella will be old enough to help me. I'm really looking forward to that.

When I was younger, my mom and sister and I would make any assortment of the following:
  • Gingerbread houses
  • Candy cane cookies
  • Baklava
  • Sugar cookies (frosted and cut into many different shapes)
  • Cornflake wreaths
  • Peanut butter kiss cookies
  • Cookies with jam in the center (can't remember the 'right' name!)
  • Fudge

The great stocking-stuffer search

Several weeks back, I purchased a few stocking stuffers for Ella's stocking. I hid them so she wouldn't find them and freak out when I took them away.

Do you think I can find those dang toys now? Of course not. I looked everywhere. I think they just disappeared. I did buy them, right? Hmmm...better check receipts. I feel like I'm imagining this!

I tend to misplace stuff like this. Prime example: the Valentine's Day card I bought for my hubby last year. I found the stupid thing 2 weeks ago in a shoebox in my closet. WHY did I put it there??
