Omaha trip

Well, the trip was a success. :) Super busy, exhausting, but fun. We got to see our friends' newborn baby, and took their daughter, Ella's bff, to the zoo with us. Listening to those 2 girls talk is a trip. Got some cute pics as well.

Did a little bit of shopping on Sunday, including Halloween costumes for Jacob and Boden from Old Navy. Super cute!

The homecoming parade on Friday was a success as well. Ella did great as Belle. She was gorgeous. I'm not biased at all. ;) It was hot but that is better than freezing and rainy.

I need to fix my blog header!!!!!!!!!!!! I am working on it as we speak.

This week at Oscraps, Paint the Moon - Annie Manning - is in the spotlight. We cooked up a super fun recipe challenge for everyone this week, and Annie has an awesome freebie sampler kit for everyone as well!

Slacker!!

Yikes. I am such a slacker! I haven't posted in weeks. I have been so busy, with Ella starting preschool and dance class, and my super fun stint as a Guest CheeryO under way at Oscraps.

Not much new to report. Ella is loving school and dance class. Beresford's homecoming is Friday the 26th and her class is riding in the parade, so that will be fun and you can bet I will be a photo-taking crazy person as usual. ;)

Then the 27th we are leaving for Omaha - a trip to the zoo (Ella has never been to that one) a little tiny bit of shopping, and to see some friends.

Jacob is sick with viral meningitis. He is such a sad baby, but is getting better so I'm thankful for that.

Ella is signed up for dance!

I am pretty pumped. I think Eric is too. It is ballet/tap/jazz, and it starts Tuesday at 6 pm in Beresford. I'm so happy they have classes there, I was afraid we'd have to drive to Vermillion to get her into anything. Sunday we are going shopping for some school shoes and a few other things, so now we will also be getting a new leotard (I think), tap shoes and ballet shoes.

I can't wait for her first recital!!!

My reign begins today! I'm lucky enough to be Guest CheeryO at Oscraps for September and October. I'm guesting with Mary Ellen, and I think we are going to have a blast! I am just so excited. I have a feeling my 2 months is going to fly by and I'm going to be so bummed when my time is up, but I'll be loving every minute of it until then!
