Big news for me, and a special birthday sale!

Eric was gone to West Virginia from Saturday to Thursday, and I nearly went nuts. Luckily my mom came and helped me.

Now, for my big news! Shen of Creashens asked me to CT for her! I am over the moon about this. She is SO talented and so sweet. I am in really good company there - I am still blown away to be among the talented ladies on her team!

My hubby's leaving on a jet plane

But, I do know when he'll be back again. (yes, on a stupid song and movie quote kick today).

Eric was accepted for a seminar/training for park management in West Virginia. So, he leaves Saturday morning at the ass crack and comes home on Thursday. I'm really excited for him. It's a great opportunity. He gets some sort of certification for completing it.

But ... I'm gonna miss him! The kids are gonna miss him! AHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!

The good thing is that my mom is coming to stay with us and help out. It will really take a load off for me - so that I do'nt have to haul the boys to Beresford twice a day to take/get Ella from school.

And, this way I don't have to take them to dance class too. The last 2 times that occurred were not fun. ;)

Blog shmog

My blog is so boring! lol I worked for awhile the other night on a blog header and just couldn't get happy with one. So I went super basic. That'll do, pig, that'll do!

Fun, Fun, Fun and Sick, Sick, Sick!

Saturday night we went to a friend's house for an "ugly outfit party." It was SO fun!

Sunday, Eric's sister, Monica, got her master's degree so we went to her graduation ceremony and out for lunch after.

I am still sick. Today I can't stop gagging. Lovely image, isn't it!

Today I am grateful for my husband, who stayed home Friday while I was sick and is coming home early today. He is an amazing person.

I am also grateful for Melissa, for staying at our house Saturday night so we could go to the party. And she truly loves doing it, so that makes it so much easier for us because we don't feel guilty.

I am grateful for my mom - she is coming next week to help me tackle the kids while Eric is in West Virginia for 6 days.

I am grateful for my sister - she is making Ella's birthday cake this year and it is going to be SO cute!

I am proud of Monica - for getting her master's degree.

Another day ... another sickness

My boys and their weird mystery illnesses! I'm calling Boden the Night Puker right now. He has puked the last 3 nights in a row. And he has some nasty, funky diapers. And not eating worth a crap. But, no fever. Eric took him in today, and he checked out ok. I'm thinking some weird tummy virus. Who knows. I just know that I've been doing a lot of crib bedding! :)

I have decided to start the 365 project. Basically, you take a photo a day for a year. I'm starting late ( was supposed to start on Jan 1st) but that's ok. I think it sounds fun. And, I actually think I only missed a few days.

I'm gonna keep them on my Facebook b/c I have a hard time getting photos to look decent and justified here.

New Year is here!

Wow. No posts in forever, and here it is 2009!

This year, I'm gonna get healthy. It isn't a resolution, really, I just need to do it. Mostly I want to lose my twin-related baby belly. So, we will see. I joined up with the Healthy O's at www.oscraps.com and I think that will offer me the support, motivation, and push I need to do this thing.

Christmas came and went, and was officially over at our house yesterday after a fun celebration with my family. Lots of awesome food. Now, here I am with yummy cookies and other leftovers, and trying to be good!

We got a new laptop on Friday. I am over the moon excited. It runs Vista and I had never used that, so I'm still getting used to it. But, it is so great to hang out in my comfy chair and scrap, chat, play games, etc. WOW!!!

Ella's birthday is in 23 days. Got her invites out, cake pan is here. Now, gotta get her gifts. We are doing a pool party this year, we thought the kids would love that.
